The move is not a project spanning months, but a sequence you work through customer by customer — and can stop at any point.
Connect
You store the credentials for the old system. Imperia reads from it but writes nothing back.
Take over
One run pulls across customers, sites, devices, checks and scripts. Beforehand a preview shows what will be created, updated and skipped.
Switch the agents
The endpoints receive the new agent through a migration token. The old one may keep running.
Reconcile
The migration report runs against the old system and shows per customer what is still open.

Common questions about the move
Do we have to switch over on a single date?
No. You go customer by customer. Both systems may run side by side; the old and the new agent do not interfere with each other.
What happens to our checks?
They are taken over, with thresholds and interval. Anything that cannot be mapped one to one appears as a finding in the migration report.
Do duplicate devices appear?
No. Imperia remembers the identifier from the old system and assigns the endpoint to the existing entry.
How long does one customer take?
The data takeover run takes minutes. How quickly the agents are switched depends on when the devices are online.
